RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

Inventory Procurement

  • Assist both Tour and Retail Lines of business with stocking of supplies specifically relevant to offerings.
  • Sets up new inventory vendors in Anchor, Spirits 360, and SAP per Accounts Payable processes.
  • Inputs Purchase Orders and Good Receipts into SAP.
  • Responsible for cataloguing and tracking orders, deliveries, invoices, and all other purchase related documents and information. Maintaining all digital copies of vendor sales quotes, purchase orders, invoices. 
  • Receive deliveries of goods to Brand Home inventory storage. Reconcile invoice with purchase order to process accordingly.
  • Prepares and reviews for accuracy all pick slips, warehouse manifests, and carrier scheduling.

Inventory Duties

  • Execute brand home retail inventory processes and procedures (physical and electronic) for accurate inventory management (weekly, monthly, and yearly). This includes inventory processes for: Direct to Consumer Spirits, Online Store, Virtual Events, Inter-Company requests, Special Release Pre-sale, and any other business activity that requires inventory to be updated outside the typical POS process.
  • Responsible for reconciling all Square POS transactions within Anchor in a timely manner to ensure correct financial reporting
  • Continuous improvement mindset of assessing and improving flows of supplies through Louisville Distilling Company.
  • Identifying, analysing, and addressing gaps in inventory processes.
  • Shares inventory numbers with Brand Home Supervisor & Retail Manager and delivers reorder timing and order numbers based on sales trends for approval by relevant Manager
  • Ensures all documentation related to inventory flow is complete, accurate, and filed correctly.
  • Reviews depletion trends and recommends changes within inventory stock based on use.
  • Monitors inventory holdings for par levels both physical and in Anchor.
  • Maintains storage areas: keeping all well labelled, clear of debris, and safety compliant.
  • Work with the Brand Home Retail Warehouse associate and Retail Manager to oversee a team and execute monthly stock takes as they relate to inventory holdings levels and report findings to Retail Manager
  • Forecast inventory items and identify retail trends and offer recommendations.
  • Execute the creation of written descriptions, barcodes, and POS creation for new products
  • Other duties as assigned by Retail Manager.

Ecommerce Duties

  • Upload updated images to Content Hub
  • Inspecting landing pages, product information, checkout options, and all other pertinent website-related systems to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use.
  • Fulfil online intercompany requests and special requests as needed.

        Systems

  • In Anchor: Inspecting product pages, product information, checkout options, and all other pertinent Point of Sale related systems to ensure their proper use, functionality, and ease of use.
  • Adhere to procedures necessary to navigate the POS, transact a purchase, and identify a purchaser’s history.
  • Update a Product page’s price, location within the navigation, CoGS, and other pertinent POS functions.
  • Work with Anchor / Spirits 360 developers on problem solving and system improvements.

Heavy Equipment

  • Trained and able to operate the Bigfoot and multiple models of forklifts used onsite for the safe movement and storage of liquid and retail inventory.
  • Manage the general maintenance and safety procedures of equipment. 

Customer Service

  • Communicate with guests through various forms of communication including email, phone, and other digital platforms
  • Assist with tour and transportation requests as directed by Brand Home Retail Manager and Visitor Experience Manager
  • Other duties as needed in relation to guest communications

  • Minimum of two years retail or inventory operations experience.
  • Must possess and exhibit strong ability to work cohesively with others to accomplish Company objectives

  • Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Proficient personal computer and software skills (SAP, Microsoft Excel, other Microsoft Office suite software, etc.)
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Strong commitment to dependability and timeliness – must have strong time management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Structured Thinker with ability to visualize & drive solutions

EXTERNAL QUALIFICATIONSDEGREE, CERTIFICATION, ADDITIONAL TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field preferred
  • Or an Associate’s degree plus four (2) years of related work experience
  • Or six (6) years operational experience in a relative position and post-secondary education combination.
