WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Owns and continuously improve the Work Order Management System and Process
    • Provides strategic ownership of the Work Order Management System and leads continuous improvement of all related processes.
    • Reviews and evaluates Planned Notifications and determines appropriate conversion to Work Orders based on operational priorities and technical requirements.
    • Administers the CMMS to ensure data integrity, system reliability, and accurate maintenance documentation, including equipment records, historical data, preventive/predictive tasks, and material requirements.
    • Designs and implements proactive, safe, and efficient weekly maintenance plans aligned with production priorities, equipment availability, environmental considerations, and organizational objectives.
      • Maintenance Work Order Planning:
        • Defines the technical scope of work for maintenance activities by assessing job requirements and execution time, determining labor skillsets (internal/external), identifying and procuring materials/services and specialized tools, and conducting safety and risk reviews.
        • Develops detailed job plans, including work instructions, technical documentation, schematics, and OEM references to support effective execution.
        • Exercises independent judgment in determining planning methods, resource allocation, and sequencing of work.
      • Maintenance Work Order Scheduling:
        • Develops weekly maintenance schedules in collaboration with Production Planning, ensuring alignment with operational needs, safety requirements, and resource availability.
        • Facilitates weekly planning and scheduling meetings to establish priorities, communicate status updates, and optimize maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
        • Communicates approved maintenance plans to stakeholders and ensures alignment across departments.
    • Backlog Management: Manages a structured, prioritized backlog by evaluating new requests, assessing urgency and impact, and coordinating with stakeholders to determine optimal sequencing for future execution.
    • Develops, documents, and continuously improves maintenance strategies (i.e. preventive programs), and standardized processes.
  • Provides indirect oversight of schedule adherence and ensures accurate completion and documentation of Work Orders.
  • Data Driven Optimization and Reliability Focus
    • Support developing and communication Maintenance Performance Indicators (KPI).
    • Analize maintenance data, trends, KPIs, and technical feedback (OEM recommendation and team experience) to generate and optimize preventive maintenance schedules and job plans/work instructions for all assets to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
    • Conducts periodic reviews of planning and scheduling processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
    • Monitors corrective work orders to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements related to safety, process efficiency, cost reduction, product quality, and energy performance.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership & Collaboration
    • Fosters a culture of operational excellence by facilitating transparent communication and collaboration across maintenance, production, engineering, and other functional teams.
    • Serves as a subject matter expert on CMMS/Fiori usage, maintenance planning processes, and reliability best practices, providing guidance and training to maintenance personnel.
  • Inventory, Procurement & Vendor Support
    • Supports MRO inventory management by identifying replenishment needs, evaluating stock levels, and recommending rationalization opportunities.
    • Partners with Procurement to evaluate subcontractor services, negotiate cost‑effective solutions, and manage ongoing vendor relationships and maintenance contracts.
  • Financial Stewardship & Budget Support
    • Contributes to the development of the maintenance budget and exercises oversight of maintenance‑related expenditures.
    • Monitors, analyzes, and reports on maintenance costs to identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Support the Engineering Team in the planning, execution and closing of projects to ensure CMMS is Update Maintenance with new equipment information, maintenance plans, job plans, etc.
  • Active Participation in continuous Improvement Initiatives (BOS) to improve efficiencies, reduce waste or learn new skills.
  • Ensures adherence to Company Global and Local policies and standards; federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Ensures compliance with Engineering and Maintenance Department procedures and work instructions including document management (documents, drawings, and diagrams are kept up to date).
  • Contributes to the overall success of the Maintenance Department by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Maintenance Management, or equivalent technical discipline
  • 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment maintenance planning/scheduling or reliability
  • Advance with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Proficient - CMMS (SAP PM).
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical manual, diagrams, blueprints and/or schematics
  • Experience with maintenance management systems- KPIs, preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Knowledge of electrical Safety (NFPA70E), ISO 9000, GMP and HACCP
