You are heading the full On Trade Channel across Belgium & Luxembourg, responsible for both “sell in” & “sell out”, so including On Trade Wholesale Channels, On Trade Key Accounts and Front Line Sales.
As Sales Manager On Trade & WHS BeLux, you drive the strategy and implementation of the full On Trade BeLux business plan, achieving results by leading, coaching and developing your teams.
You create legacy of Bacardi in the On Trade scene, driving key decisions that will significantly affect Bacardi’s presence in all core Bars, Clubs, Restaurants and Hotels.
You empower your teams to bring our brands to life, by building brilliant and strategic partnerships and relationships with customers. And you ensure the performance and growth of Bacardi’s Brands through searching new business opportunities, driving distribution and connecting with our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, implement and manage the strategy for On Trade, designing the business plans for Belgium & Luxembourg, based on delivery of commercial priorities & the countries Integrated Activity Plan, both on Wholesale and Front line sales level;
- Manage and own the price plans, discount plans and budgets, enabling a growth mindset; Optimize and implement the Bacardi Sales Model;
- Steer your teams towards excellence, enabling them to become the best version of themselves, by creating an atmosphere of learning and change agility and fostering an open feedback and constructive conflict culture;
- Drive excellent executive by letting your teams deliver on key financial targets (NSV, Gross Margin, Overheads, Profitability, ROI, Value Share), as well as on Pictures of Success (PoS) targets in partnership with customers / distributor;
- Oversee the monthly & quarterly territory / channel / account performance, partnering up with the Commercial Excellence team and with customers / distributors to ensure delivery of forecast and budget (volume / value / execution) in line with Bacardi Scorecard
- Deliver impact from customer and purchaser programs agreed in the Countries IAP, managing resources and capacity against KPIs and territory targets
- Build and maintain effective long-term relationships with Wholesale and Key & Field On Trade customers, key stakeholders & distributors
- Differentiate service levels by outlet, maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Wholesale, Field & Key Account team
- Communicate effectively with customers to seek inputs for product and service improvement and resolve issues
SKILLS
- Commercial experience in sales team leadership, key account management and/or marketing role
- Experience of Coaching, Developing and Mentoring others
- Demonstrable track record of developing and implementing sales plans, delivering Commercial priorities and country integrated activation plan
- Highly developed commercial acumen, strong P&L understanding, and strong understanding of managing the Bacardi scorecard on territory, channel and account performance
- Strong strategic & analytical skills
- Well-developed communication / presentation skills and strong networking & interpersonal skills
- You are comfortable communicating in Dutch, French and English, both written and spoken
- You enjoy leading, engaging and motivating a team
- You are Pro-active, Goal-oriented and Passionate about delivering sustainable results and constantly seek to improve
- You have the customer at the heart. You easily build and maintain great relationships with (key) customers, key stakeholders and distributers
- You demonstrate Resilience and can help build this in others, through nurturing a strong ‘family’ culture
