YOUR CHALLENGE

As a Customer Account Manager, you will represent Bacardi across bars, clubs, restaurants, and venues. You will build strong partnerships with customers, bring our brands to life in the On Trade environment, and contribute to the growth and visibility of our portfolio. Your work will directly shape how consumers experience Bacardi brands.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers, identify new business opportunities, and support the execution of commercial and brand plans. You will be a key connector between Bacardi, our customers, and consumers, ensuring our brands are well represented and consistently delivered with excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

Customer Partnership & Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with On Trade customers.
  • Understand customer needs and local consumer behaviour to develop tailored solutions.
  • Conduct outlet surveys during visits and work with customers to ensure high quality execution.

Commercial Delivery

  • Develop and manage the sales plan for your area in line with commercial priorities.
  • Achieve key sales metrics including distribution, visibility, new business acquisition, promotional execution, and financial targets.
  • Secure new business while retaining and growing existing accounts.

Brand Activation & Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing and Brand Ambassadors to deliver impactful events and brand activations.
  • Support best in class outlet execution that builds brand and venue loyalty.
  • Maintain regular communication with wholesale partners to support mutual growth.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Field Sales Execution, Sales Planning, Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to deliver against Bacardi KPIs.
  • Analyse promotional activities and budgets, including ROI assessments.
  • Share insights and support colleagues to elevate customer management and execution standards.

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY

Required

  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales, ideally within FMCG or a related field.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including active listening.
  • Effective planning, time management, and organisational abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and apply insights to decision making.

Preferred

  • Experience in On Trade or Off Trade management within the spirits or beverage industry.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering commercial results.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
