RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
Local Sourcing (70%)
- Local sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier management for spend between $100K-$1M for categories including (but not limited to) MRO, parts, local plant services, and facilities for the Jacksonville Supply Center.
- Partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and SQS to ensure local business needs are met and suppliers are meeting performance expectations.
- Builds a robust local supplier base through supplier scouting, identification, and new vendor onboarding to ensure competition in sourcing events.
- Delivers 5% savings (cost reductions & avoidance) and working capital improvements through RFP creation, execution, and effective supplier management.
Supply Management (20%)
- Procurement Lead for Level 1 quality or services issues for direct materials (raw materials and packaging).
- Responsible for issue resolution and escalation to Regional Procurement for Level 2 or critical supply issues within the plant.
- Partners with Regional Procurement and suppliers to ensure timely resolution of supply issues and cost reimbursement from the supplier (if needed)
Procurement Liaison (10%)
- Serves as the primary point of contact within the bottling plant for procurement related questions or inquiries to ensure compliance with internal policies and support for operational business needs.
SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 1-4 years of Supply Chain experience, with at least 1-2 years working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to demonstrate proven results in delivering cost reductions, quality/service, or process improvements,
- Ability to demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and performance through change, competing priorities, ambiguity, and during times of crisis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using business analytics tools, preferred.
- Experience with eSourcing tools and SAP.
- Excellent PC skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
