El Especialista de Planeación y Control de Materiales es responsable de garantizar la disponibilidad oportuna y eficiente de los materiales necesarios para la producción, evitando tanto la escasez como el exceso de inventario mediante la planificación, programación y control de la adquisición, almacenamiento y uso de materiales. Este puesto requiere un conocimiento profundo de los procesos de fabricación, la gestión de inventarios y las operaciones de la cadena de suministro. Trabajará en estrecha colaboración con el equipo de producción, el equipo de gestión de materiales, el departamento de finanzas, el departamento de compras y otras partes interesadas clave para garantizar la capacidad y la eficacia de los programas de producción.
Optimizar y ajustar, junto con el Programador de Producción los programas de producción semanales en función de los pedidos de los clientes, los niveles de inventario, la capacidad de la línea y la disponibilidad de materiales.
• Asegurar junto con el Programador de Producción que los programas de producción se ajusten a los objetivos y plazos de la empresa, siguiendo las estrategias de planificación por bloques y el principio de fabricación en flujo.
• Priorizar las órdenes de producción para cumplir los plazos, manteniendo la calidad y la eficiencia.
• Garantizar la reposición oportuna de materiales y evitar la escasez.
• Supervisar los niveles de inventario, hacer un seguimiento del consumo de materiales e implementar medidas de control de inventario para optimizar los niveles de existencias y minimizar el exceso o la escasez.
• Garantizar los niveles de inventario con proveedores atendiendo las necesidades de planeación de demanda y bajo los estándares establecidos por la compañía.
• Planificar y gestionar el movimiento de materiales manteniendo comunicación efectiva con proveedores y almacén hasta el arribo de material en planta.
• Asegurar junto con el área de procurement que la estrategia del negocio para abastecimientos/adquisiciones esté alineada a las necesidades del negocio a través de reuniones mensuales con indicadores de desempeño asignados.
