This position reports to the Bottling Manager. The incumbent is responsible for all phases of bottling line production, supervising and coordinating activities of bottling operators. This individual is responsible for maintaining a clean, equitable, and safe working environment in the bottling, production areas, and surrounding areas. This role will also partner with their manager to train, develop, and evaluate department staff..

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

  • Plan work schedules to be performed during a given day or week, by several employees within their area of responsibility in conjunction with published production schedules
  • Effectively supervise Bottling Line employees as well as contract staffing employees to ensure production goals and efficiencies are met.
  • Support Self Directed Teams Initiatives
  • Fully responsible for production on the Angel’s Envy Bottling Line
  • Possess good working knowledge of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) performed by Bottling Line Operators.
  • Ability to drive Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Ability to perform necessary SAP functions.
  • Ability to effectively operate bottling line machinery as needed.
  • Observe machinery operation to detect malfunctions, report problems to maintenance for repair and offer technical guidance where appropriate.
  • Oversee work of Bottling Line Operators to ensure completeness and compliance with packaging and quality specifications.
  • Provide leadership and guidance of company safety policies and procedures and ensure all Primos work within guidelines.
  • Assure all work areas are clean and orderly in compliance with 5S initiative
  • Document all employee reports and ensure timely/accurate preparation and completion of all necessary paperwork including incident reports and time cards.
  • Complete production reports as required.
  • Partner with Manager to prepare and perform employee performance evaluation reports for Bottling Operators in a conscientious and timely manner.
  • Schedule vacation time, overtime and special working hours for Bottling Line Operators in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management team.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with other departments to effectively meet company goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to effectively ensure sanitation and housekeeping standards are met and maintained.
  • Possess the ability to work overtime, and outside normal schedule as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY

  • Minimum of two years on production/plant operation experience (beverage industry preferred).
  • Experience on other beverage sector manufacturing field (e.g. processing, bottling, etc.) is desired.
  • Must possess and exhibit strong ability to work cohesively with others to accomplish company objectives
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership skills with effective training abilities.
  • Good analytical skills including KPI evaluations.
  • Self-motivated and possess ability to work independently and as a team member.

EXTERNAL QUALIFICATIONSDEGREE, CERTIFICATION, ADDITIONAL TRAINING

  • Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field and two (2) years of operational leadership experience, (Business or Science/Engineering degree preferred)
  • Or an Associate’s degree plus four (4) years operational leadership experience in related field. Minimum Experience:
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience or equivalent leadership experience

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids:

  • General office equipment, supplies, personal computer, computer software, Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, SAP, reference materials regarding operations, engineering standards, and safety, health, and environmental issue

Environmental Conditions:

  • Work is performed in non temperature-controlled environment and in a production facility where dust, fumes, heat, cold, noise, and vibration exist; and in outdoors environment where seasonal elements and weather elements can exist

Corporate Citizenship/Responsibility:

  • Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Promote and support the Bacardi Corporate Social Responsibility Program Protective Clothing: • All protective equipment required by company policy and/or State law.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

  • Operational Excellence: According to the B10 Operations strategy and Bacardi’s Operating System (BOS)
  • Bottling Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including but not limited to Bottling Efficiency, Right First Time, productivity, etc. are met or exceeded per departmental targets.
  • All required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • All Bottling Primos trained and qualified per departmental goals.
  • Meet or exceed all departmental safety requirements including, but not limited to, completion of Safety Observations, participation on Safety Committee, etc.
  • Talent Development: Ensure team has clear and meaningful development plans in place and actively monitor and advance succession plans.
