RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:
Process Ownership
- Oversee the site’s MRO Inventory Management Process, ensuring it aligns with business objectives, standards, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Own the MRO material master records lifecycle in SAP, creating, updating and/or obsoleting material while ensuring data integrity (material descriptions, units of measure, material types, and storage parameters) to drive efficiency in Maintenance Planning.
- Execute strategic spare parts criticality assessments, classifying inventory (Critical, Essential, Non-Critical) by analysing risk, lead times, and operational impact to maximize equipment reliability and production continuity.
- Audit, validate, and maintain BOMs to ensure strict alignment with functional locations, guaranteeing the structural integrity and accuracy of CMMS data.
- Collaborate with Engineering and OEMs to identify, capture, and validate critical spare parts and BOM components for new and existing equipment installations.
- Audit and refine dynamic inventory control procedures, utilizing data analytics to balance stock levels with maintenance demands and risk. Implement proactive inventory turnover strategies, ensuring high asset availability while reducing costs associated with slow-moving or obsolete materials.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts in the Inventory Management System (i.e.-barcoding, reorganization, 5S etc.)
- Administer the Storeroom 3rd Party Management Program and facilitate systematic audits to proactively identify opportunities and develop robust mitigation strategies.
- Track, Report and Analyse key inventory (MRO) performance metrics to identify trends, generate reports, and provide data driven recommendations for improvement
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive MRO Inventory and materials management documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and training materials.
Collaboration & Technical Expertise
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, EHS, and Quality—to maximize critical material availability and strengthen strategic vendor relationships
- Support with parts and services invoices process to keep up to date the Maintenance Spend
- Provide subject matter expertise, guidance, and training to maintenance and engineering personnel on MRO Management Systems and Processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, BOS) to streamline processes and reduce costs
- Support site CAPEX initiatives by ensuring (BOM) accuracy and completeness for new equipment commissioning
- Contributes to the overall success of the Maintenance and Engineering Department by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned
SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent technical discipline
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning, reliability, or maintenance systems with knowledge in spare parts systems.
- Experience in with ISO 9000, GMP and HACCP (preferred)
- Proficiency in SAP PM (PM, BOM, and material masted data management)
- Advance with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
