Calling all On Trade experts with a passion for shopper marketing! A fantastic opportunity to join the Customer Marketing team and lead the OnTrade channel. You will be responsible for the flawless execution of a BTL plan that positions Bacardi as one of the industry leaders in activation. Putting shopper at the heart to win along the path to purchase, whilst building trusted partnerships with our priority customers to fuel long-term growth.

As the Customer Marketing On Trade Channel Lead your responsibility will extend to create the best channel plans for our brands and to coordinate the implementation of the strategy across the team of Customer Marketing Managers.

Being a natural leader, at ease pivoting between short and long-term decision making, you will be comfortable operating at pace and leading projects from start to finish, with a passion for coaching/people development. These are all essential skills needed to excel within this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

  • Implement the Channel Marketing strategy, working cross functionally to deliver execution aligned to brand strategy. Comfortable identifying gaps and adapting toolkits as needed, whilst embracing a less equals more approach. Better enabled through AVQPAP. 70% of BTL execution to come from Channel Marketing toolkits from F26.
  • Put the shopper at the heart, bringing together functions to embrace this mindset. All whilst having commercial awareness of the JTBD to win with our customer partners.
  • Lead the IAP activity build for the channel. Balancing shopper, customer, brand perspectives. 
  • An inspirational leader, seen as a channel expert. Passionate about winning in the marketplace and putting Primo development at the heart of the growth agenda.  With direct responsibility for leading a team of Customer Marketing Managers.
  • A key member of the Customer Marketing leadership team, supporting the direction and delivery of the Channel Marketing strategy.
  • Maximise ROI from A&P, keeping the channel discussion focused on proven growth drivers.
  • Decision making based on insights, integrating M&E into the business rhythm for the channel.
  • Ownership of all local secondary packaging propositions. Including the Innovator process .
  • Business partner for the channel JBP process, forming part of a cross functional project team.
  • Remains abreast of legal regulations in the industry for the Country.

  • An experienced Coach, with a passion for Primo development and building a high-performance team.
  • Agile decision-making, at ease leveraging Strengths Finder to build and nurture a high-performance team.
  • Channel expert, with advanced knowledge of how the priority customers operate, the key barriers to success and how to win through partnership.
  • Thrives on being a key contact for customers, whilst balancing internal and external priorities. Setting the example for a team of Customer Marketing Managers & Activation Managers
  • Strong communicator, skilled at removing complexity and driving clarity across multiple functions. Agile in adjusting their style to the audience, internally and externally.
  • Advanced in engaging and motivating others, driving joint ownership between functions (internal or external). Taking a total marketing perspective to bring Customer Marketing, Consumer Marketing and Sales together to win collectively.
  • Natural ability to inspire and lead agencies to adapt and deliver BTL winning programs.
  • Committed to leaving a legacy, always planning two steps ahead for long-term success.
  • Fluent command in French and English. Essential.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years experience mid / senior level within Marketing or Commercial. Preferably within a Premium / FMCG background.
  • Advanced knowledge of the channel achieved by working directly with key customers (in a Marketing or Commercial capacity).
  • Detailed understanding of customers, their needs and how to win through partnership.
  • History of successfully leading high performance teams and championing development is preferred.
  • Evidence of being an inspirational coach, be that with direct or indirect reports, is essential.
  • Advanced in taking strategic decisions based on their knowledge of the brands, customers, categories, and channel.
  • Proven track record in positive stakeholder management.
  • Experience of developing and executing marketing programs (ATL or BTL) is preferred.
  • Exposure to Bacardi Way Of Growth for Marketing on how to build brands sustainably and effectively.
