As Senior Tax Compliance Analyst, you will be working with VAT, CIT and other taxes from NAM countries (with the special focus on USA), ensuring the filings are submitted on time, tracking tax law changes, and implementing accordingly. The candidate will be responsible to perform transactional and analytical tasks, generating reports, performing month end close tax activities, preparation of tax returns and other tax compliance external and internal processes for the company globally. This role will help you increase the knowledge in tax by working with different markets, different tax professionals and tax advisors. Also, this position helps the person to develop different soft skills due to the high interaction across many functions (Finance & Non-Finance) as a resource to the international markets and SSC. The candidate will deal with confidential and sensitive data and must ensure conformity with policies, procedures, and regulations of Bacardi and external government agencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
· Extraction and review of data from SAP or any other sources for the preparation of the local fillings.
· Responsible for the quality and timely submission of the data the supports the tax filings and requirements
· Coordinate the information flow from and to the local finance teams and the local advisors as applicable.
· Timely and accurate filing of the tax filings/returns with the Tax Authorities.
· Review and approval of some tax filings prepared by the Junior Tax Analyst.
· Assist with the completion of the tax worksheets for the purpose of Corporate consolidation in Bermuda.
· Coordination of the tax payments derived from the tax filings – thresholds.
· Coordination with Bacardi Enterprise Services (BES) of any information required for the filings and ensuring that the information received from BES is correct for the purpose of the filings and returns. Work with BES in case information needs to be corrected or processes re-designed as necessary.
· Prepare the reconciliations of the tax accounts on a monthly and yearly basis.
· Assistance with respect to tax technology and implementation of new and more efficient ways of working
· Documentation, implementation and improvement of processes and flows of information for the purpose of generating tax filings/returns.
· Keep updated with regards to changes in the law or internally that impact the filings/returns.
· Collaborate on the implementation of tax law changes and internal or external audits
SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
· University degree in Accounting or Business Administration
· Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
· Strong accounting skills.
· Previous experience in tax filings-reporting– tax returns: 2-3 years at least.
· Previous accounting experience beyond tax: 2-3 years at least.
· Previous experience in tax accounting, tax provisions and corporate income tax
· USA tax filings experience (1099, 1042, Sales and Use Tax, Property Tax, Annual Returns, Beverage Tax, etc)
· Previous experience with SAP is a must
· Previous experience in Shared Services environment- preferred
· Must be fluent in English (another language is a plus)
· Analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
· High level of attention to details.
Ability and willingness to assume responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of work assigned
