As Global RGM Director, for Price to Trade & Terms (P2TT) you will be the subject matter expert for the P2TT RGM pillar and the lead of P2TT Excellence program to elevate the organization potential in this area. Together with regional & in-market teams, you will oversee and optimize the price to trade and trade terms strategies globally, with objective to maximize revenue and profitability results, in full alignment with the rest of RGM pillars. You mission is to deliver incremental Net Sales (NSV), Gross profit (GP) and Gross Margin % (GM%) opportunities unlocked through the P2TT pillar. As the Global RGM capability development lead, together with the other RGM Pillars’ leads, you will build and scale up the organizations’ RGM capabilities globally. You will develop and implement learning program solutions that upskill global, regional and in-market teams, to successfully leverage the defined tools and processes for each of the 5 RGM Pillars.
We will leverage this role to recruit into the Global RGM a talented commercial professional with the mission to expand the P2TT Excellence program, strengthen the people skills and knowledge around RGM and unlock the next chapter of Bacardi RGM before moving into more senior commercial roles.
This is a high-profile role with material business impact- you will engage with senior local/regional stakeholders & GLT. It requires strong leadership, analytics skills and the ability to collaborate cross functionally, across the hierarchy levels and across Channels and Routes to Markets in the global Bacardi landscape.
ABOUT YOU
You will have a solid understanding of the P2TT and Commercial Capability building context across different RTM’s (Direct, Distributor), Channels (On-Trade/Off-Trade/E-com) and Regions (Europe, AMEA & LAC Emerging markets, GTR) – proven track record of leading & embedding commercial change programs in an international landscape with impactful business results.
RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
Gross to Net (GtN) Framework Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure One Bacardi GtN framework consistent implementation and governance adherence for our annual GtN (Trade spend) management across regions and channels, enabling transparency on how we invest and ensuring compliance with regards to commercial policies, US GAAP policy, local regulations and trading practices.
- Provide SME expertise where necessary and support the regions/in-market teams develop their channel customer pricing strategies, aligned with Rec. PTC positioning and value chain economics, to enable fair customer margins and Bacardi consumer spend optimization across our portfolio over time.
P2TT Excellence program expansion & performance management
- Spearhead the P2TT Excellence program expansion across channels and geographies (deployment across Europe, AMEA/GTR , LAC - assessment for NAM) and embedding cross-functionally for regional / in-market teams. Ensure continuous P2TT Excellence program evolution to correspond to internal & external challenges and opportunities.
- Drive P2TT performance management in deployed regions / markets and establish rigor on Quarterly/Annual Reviews and Action planning focused on Efficiency, Effectiveness and Defensibility improvements to enable incremental NSV (& NSV/9lc), GP (& GP/9lc) and GM% short- & long-term - accountable for solid and focused action plans enabling an Annual Size of Prize.
- Lead the continuous evolution of Data Analytics and Reporting P2TT Suite– drive P2TT Dashboard adoption supporting the Performance management regime and continuously evolve the automated analytics and tools necessary to enable data driven decision making for the regional /in-market teams, in preparation for Negotiation for Annual Customer agreements and JBPs across regions/markets/ Route to Markets to unlock incremental growth.
RGM Capability development and deployment
- Champion the P2TT skills and knowledge continuous development – update existing P2TT training program, build new supporting trainings in relation to Data Analytics and market needs, support regions/in-market teams with training deployment virtually or physically
- Lead the capability building workstream for the RGM function curriculum, overseeing the design and deployment of foundational and advanced learning programs. Act as a facilitator—partnering with RGM pillar leads and SMEs to enable effective content delivery through tailored formats (e-learnings, workshops, playbooks, train-the-trainer), ensuring scalable, fit-for-purpose learning solutions across all RGM pillars.
- Partner with Marketing and Commercial capability building teams to embed RGM learning and mindset across functions’ learning initiatives/ routines and support the successful deployment across regions/markets as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Team Leadership:
- Ensure Leadership teams (Global/Regional/Market) regular updates on Insights, Challenges/Opportunities, Action plans and facilitate decision making initiatives necessary around P2TT KPIs performance and Program impact.
- Be sparring partner to regional/in-market teams (RGM, IKAM, Finance, Commercial) supporting the expansion and embedding of P2TT program, effective execution of Annual P2TT Action plans and governance on GtN framework.
- Collaborate with Global/Regional cross-functional teams (i.e. Finance, Performance Management, Marketing, Commercial Performance, Audit) to ensure synergies, alignment with RGM capabilities and infuse the RGM mindset.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the global RGM community and develop an impactful network of RGM ambassadors across regions and markets.
- To ensure the relevant leadership teams are regularly updated on insights (challenges & potential opportunities), proposed solutions/impact, progress and enable any relevant top-down decisions to be taken.
SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
- Proven experience in RGM and Trade spend management, or a related field, with ideally a global perspective / minimum requirement European Off Trade perspective. Track record of driving impactful results in a matrix organization set up, cross-functionally, building strong relationships and driving collaboration
- Commercially blended background in Spirits or CPG industry (sales, shopper marketing, category development, or brand management) with strong Financial Acumen; familiarity with direct and in-direct RTM dynamics, European retailing landscape.
- Proven experience with Change management, involving embedding commercial (incl. customer) & customer ways of working across multiple markets, ideally trade price/terms related
- Demonstrable experience with Capability building development and successful deployment across markets
- Strong Analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions, and technologically savvy – solid experience with relevant RGM tools, analytics platforms, and data visualization software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate RGM strategies and results, especially with senior management.market/regiona/global levels
