INTERNSHIP PURPOSE :

We are looking for a VISITOR CENTER & SHOP Intern who will work closely with the Operation Manager in Casa Martini to support on a wide variety of tasks and projects in retail and tour experience with particular focus on the organization of the service offered.   This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to start a career in Hospitality and Retail in the spirits industry. In return you will be working with passionate people in a nice office environment and have the opportunity to develop your skills. 

Casa Martini VISITOR CENTER SUPPORT: the candidate will act as a guide to introduce visitors to the Martini e Rossi philosophy.

Store Casa Martini SUPPORT SHOP: customer support and sales assistance, cash management for issuing visits tickets.

Functions and Responsibilities :

• Assist and guide visitors in Casa Martini Spaces
• Customer support and sales assistance
• Assist in selling box ticket office with relative use of the cash desk and POS
• Assist in updating the visits package sales management system
• Assist in updating the physical storage and inventory management system
• Assist in updating the cash management system and daily, weekly and monthly accounting administration
• Monitor and coordinate and support host and shop team
• Guidelines for visual merchandising coordinated by the marketing manager in accordance with the inputs received from the store manager
• Support the store manager for the image of the store
• Support the operations manager for the image of the museum
• Merchandising & Point of Sale (POS) Excellence: ensure excellent planning and execution of our in-store activities
• Analysis and reports: conducting generic retail reports and sell-out analyzes on customer development; conduct online audits of top sellers and customer evolution online
• Support the marketing manager for the social media

 Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Management or similar field.

A post graduate degree is a plus and any exposure or experience in spirits industry would be ideal. 

Languages : Fluent in English and Italian is a must.

The internship will start as soon as possible and will last no less than 1000 hours.

A full-time commitment is foreseen from Thursday to Saturday and Monday to Tuesday from 10.30 to 19.30
