The Brand Educator will be responsible for educating many audiences on Angel’s Envy while nurturing relationships with the trade. You will play an integral role in creating brand awareness and experiences that allow diverse audiences to connect with the brand in unique ways.
RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
- Play an essential part in telling the story of the heritage, craft, and the exceptional drink experience of the Angel’s Envy portfolio, supporting all channels of the business (On-Premise + Off-Premise + Non-Premise + Media).
- Represent the brand at high priority engagements within your designated markets as well as at Brand Home on an as needed basis. Work closely alongside the Angel’s Envy regional managers and Bacardi commercial team to identify support needed and pre-identify market visits that require brand education.
- Develop presentation materials and deliver education to diverse audiences on priority subjects, including the brand, category, cocktails, finishing, etc.
- Support Head of Brand Experience & Education in development of whiskey/bourbon education content and playbooks, collaborating with key stakeholders across advocacy, marketing, commercial, legal, and brand home.
- Share gathered insights on the brand, competition, consumer, and focus markets; utilize insights to make strategic business decisions.
- Evaluate the brand’s strategic programs through an advocacy/brand educator lens and provide strategic support on how to implement and execute programs across different parts of the business (National Accounts On-Premise, National Retail Sales, Experiential, etc.)
- Maintain strong presence on relevant social channels, highlighting brand initiatives.
- Participate in key meetings and trainings for the brand and greater Bacardi organization.
- Create industry revered advocacy moments for the brand to drive value growth ahead of the industry.
- Support Head of Brand Experience & Education as needed.
- Ensure Angel’s Envy shows up in a way that is aligned with brand vision and core business objectives, driving our strategy and overall business goals.
- Maintain all legal and compliance requirements.
- Work with Head of Brand Experience & Education and KY Partnership Manager on allocated budgets, managing expenses, tracking, and reporting proactively to ensure strategic investments with a strong understanding of the business drivers for the brand to be successful and delivering on needs of the business.
- Travel outside of market approximately 50% of the time
SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
- Experience representing spirit brand(s) in an ambassador capacity preferred
- Excellent presentation, organizational, critical thinking, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills
- Established network of industry professionals
EXTERNAL QUALIFICATIONS – DEGREE, CERTIFICATION, ADDITIONAL TRAINING
- High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5-7 years’ experience, preferably in the spirits, bartending, bar management, and/or hospitality industries
