As the Global Process Lead – Supply Planning, you will play a critical role in process governance and technology  SAP S/4HANA  and IBP transformation, shaping how demand is translated into executable plans across the enterprise.

You will own the global Production and Supply Planning design, leveraging SAP IBP to drive standardization, simplification, and effective change management, while ensuring strong integration with downstream execution in S/4HANA

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

Global Supply and Production Planning Process Ownership ( within Business and S/4HANA–IBP Landscape)

  • Act as the Global Process Lead for Supply and Production Planning, owning the end-to-end global  Supply and Production Planning process.
  • Define, maintain, and govern the global  Supply and Production Planning blueprint, ensuring alignment with the Company Target Operating Model and enterprise planning principles
  • Ensure  Supply and Production Planning processes are designed fit-to-standard, leveraging SAP IBP as the strategic planning solution
  • Own global process documentation, including process flows, governance, roles & responsibilities, decision rights, and escalation paths, clearly linked to  execution in S/4HANA. Author the step-by-step global workflows for how users interact with the new systems
  • Within S/4 Hana and Transformation Journey, to ensure  Supply and Production planning solutions are fully aligned with S/4HANA data models, master data, and execution processes
  • Partner with IT, system integrators, and data teams to translate business requirements into SAP IBP functional design, configuration which is fit to To Be Target Operating Model
  • Lead fit-to-standard workshops across  Supply and Production Planning, ensuring adherence to SAP best practices and minimizing customization
  • Ensure readiness and quality of end-to-end master data, including product, customer, location, drive alignment and standardization of  hierarchies, and planning levels across IBP and other satellite systems. Define data requirements & integration points between S/4HANA, IBP, and legacy systems. Master data ready (preparation + Quality) for all the steps of the project. Ensure master data are aligned with planning processes
  • Drive alignment of interfaces, data latency, and integration flows between IBP and S/4HANA to support reliable planning and execution
  • Ensure cross functional readiness for Go-Live (training, Change management, interdependencies, cut over activities) inc Description, Governance, RACI, execution path
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and partner with change management to ensure smooth deployment

Design Phase

  • Lead cross-functional design alignment across Supply Chain, and IT to define a target operating model within the S/4HANA–IBP landscape
  • Ensure demand assumptions, financial targets, and operational constraints are jointly agreed and embedded into global process design and architecture decisions
  • Represent  Supply and Production Planning interests in fit-to-standard workshops, ensuring upstream and downstream interdependencies are clearly understood and documented

Build Phase

  • Orchestrate collaboration between business teams, IT, and system integrators to ensure SAP IBP demand capabilities are built in line with S/4HANA execution requirements
  • Validate that configuration and integrations reflect cross-functional process dependencies, including data flows, master data alignment, and planning-to-execution handoffs
  • Ensure consistency between global design principles and local build decisions, minimizing customization and protecting end-to-end integrity

Test Phase

  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end, cross-functional test scenarios that validate Supply and Production Planning in IBP and its downstream impact on S/4HANA execution
  • Ensure participation of SMEs in UAT and integration testing, with clear ownership of issues and resolutions
  • Validate that scenarios, exceptions, and trade-offs translate into executable outcomes across supply, inventory, and order fulfillment processes

Deploy Phase

  • Ensure cross-functional readiness for go-live, including aligned processes, trained users, change management plan and clear ownership of interdependencies
  • Act as a key coordination point to resolve cross-functional issues arising during cutover and early deployment
  • Ensure demand planning outputs are reliably converted into execution signals in S/4HANA from day one

Hypercare Phase

  • Coordinate cross-functional forums to monitor end-to-end performance and stability post go-live
  • Ensure rapid resolution of cross-functional issues impacting demand accuracy, service levels, or execution reliability
  • Capture learnings and drive refinements to global processes, governance, and playbooks to support long-term adoption and maturity

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

Strong expertise in end-to-end S&OP Planning both SAP system lense and business

Hands-on experience with IBP solution

Ability to effectively communicate and influence, both up with top management and to lead change with end-users

Skilled in managing stakeholders across business, IT, and external partners

Effective communicator who can translate between business and technical teams

Strong people leadership skills and ability to set clear direction for transformational change

Experience in running Helpdesk/support to end-users, incident management

Strong Experience in project management

Process mapping, documentation, and functional specification writing

Experience in crisis management, ability to manage the matrix

Strong Ability to work remotely, monitor process, progress and results

Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability

The following experiences are recommended:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Information Systems

10+ years of experience in Planning Process execution, design, or transformation

Prior involvement in a major ERP transformation (SAP S/4HANA preferred)

Experience working in cross-functional and multi-country environments

Proficiency in tools like SAP Solution Manager, Signavio, Jira, or equivalent is a plus
