RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Key point of contact for all exports management from Bacardi Tultitlan shipments.
  • Coordination with the customs agent, freight forwarder and/or parcel companies for the export logistics.
  • Ensure the correct management/coordination of export for finished goods and bulk under IMMEX in accordance with their respective customs regimes.
  • Request of Free Sales Certificates to Cofepris, apostilles, among other documents to government entities, and request internal documentation like certificates of analysis to the responsible area.
  • Application and compliance with the maintenance of the “Foreign Trade Complement” (CFDI) for PT, Bulk and dry goods/ raw material, as well as for new markets with the service provider (EDICOM) for all exports.
  • Issuance of the shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, etc., under compliance with current customs regulations.
  • Maintain electronic backup of export operations for a period of at least 5 years through the company's official means (SharePoint).
  • Map the service requirements for customers (complementary transportation services, custody, customs agents, among others) regarding the export process and serve as the business contact point in the bidding processes managed by the procurement team.
  • Keep control and monitoring of invoiced and in-transit shipments, and provide visibility to the teams involved (warehouse, customer service, planning & logistics, etc.).
  • Ensure continuous improvements in the KPIs related to the export process (operational costs, assertiveness in documents shared with Customs, competent authorities, and customers).
  • Creation of Purchase Orders in system and monitoring for the payment to suppliers.

·       Have worked directly with customs agents and customs verification units (UVA) in foreign trade operations.

·       Knowledge of the operation and management of bonded warehouses.

·       Focused on compliance with policies and procedures.

·       Understanding of the business and the consumer and client needs.

·       Management of customs agent platforms.

·       Customs Law and its regulations (responsibilities and obligations of the customs agent and exporter/importer, non-compliance and sanctions in foreign trade operations, foreign trade regimes and their process, among others).

·       Interpretation of TIGIE (Basic knowledge of tariff classification and exceptions).

·       Annex 22 (import/export codes).

·       Knowledge of IMMEX operation and process is desirable.

·       Language Requirements: English is essential.

·       In depth understanding of international trade principles, including Incoterms and free trade agreements.

·       Bachelor’s degree in international business, Foreign Trade, logistics or similar.

·       Minimum 3 years of foreign trade, preferably in FMCG environment

·       Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (intermediate Excel level)
