An integral part of the Bermuda Senior Management team, the Senior HR Business Partner will play a crucial role in driving the people & culture agenda. He/she will be a strategic business partner to the Bermuda Senior Management team, understanding the culture and needs of the business to seamlessly execute local and global people strategies. He/she will play a key role to further the evolution of the growth, history, culture, and heritage of the Company. The Senior HR Business Partner will ensure the execution of the people strategy to meet business needs and  help create an effective and efficient organization, driven by primos who are strongly engaged in the values, culture, and aspirations of Bacardi. The Senior HR Business Partner will serve as the HR lead for Bacardi’s Global Leadership Team Members based in Bermuda. While these executives have functional HR support across global regions, and functions, this role provides them with tailored support within the Bermuda HQ context. This role requires a seasoned, culturally agile, and discreet HR professional who can influence at the most senior levels while executing core people strategies and change initiatives locally.

This role is essential in sustaining and embedding Bacardi’s culture at our global headquarters through close partnerships with Bermuda based Primos at all levels, especially our senior leaders.
 

AS A PEOPLE & CULTURE BUILDER, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

Primo Recruitment & Retention

Understand the business operations and strategic objectives to align talent strategies to deliver the business objectives
Lead the implementation of global and regional HR strategies in close collaboration with Play a pivotal Regional & Global HR teams.
Provide coaching and mentoring  to leaders and line managers on core HR matters including employee relations, policy interpretation and review, staffing, compensation & benefits, conflict resolution, performance management, talent development and succession planning.
Be a culture champion. Deliver the global people, diversity & culture agenda for the local office, assuring adaptation to local business needs.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations to reduce risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Partner with external legal counsel as needed/required.
Deliver a robust and value-add recruitment, onboarding, integration & retention strategy for the country aligned to global and regional strategy.
Maintain an open-door policy and foster a culture of integrity respect and compliance

Primo Engagement & Talent Management

Monitor employee engagement level, support implementation of action plans to drive engagement.
Conduct and Lead the annual Talent Review process and ensure succession pipeline for critical roles
Identify and develop the future leaders through succession planning and talent management activities

Compensation and Benefits

Oversee the payroll and benefits administration in partnership with Shared Services and Payroll teams, ensuring timely processing and reconciliations.
Manage primo investment budgets, balancing cost optimization with investment in talent and capability-building initiatives.

HR Administration

Maintain HR systems (primarily Workday), ensure data is kept up to date and correct and provide relevant analysis and reports as required.
Shape and execute the local people strategy in partnership with the Bermuda Managing Director.
Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures in terms of conduct, mobility, compensation & benefits, internal & external recruitment, onboarding, development, training, etc.

Primo Engagement

Serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the Bermuda Managing Director and senior leadership team on all people-related matters.
Champion the employee experience and ensure all team members feel a strong sense of inclusion, purpose, and belonging.
Design and lead engagement programs that drive employee satisfaction and support organizational performance.

Performance Management

Drive and support all elements of the Company’s performance management (Let’s Talk) cycle including coaching, Let’s Talk discussions, goal setting, career development and promotions.
Partner with senior management team to ensure fair, consistent, and transparent processes that support employee growth and accountability.

Additional Responsibilities

Regularly report to the senior management team on engagement metrics, cultural health, and progress on HR strategic initiatives.
Manage employee, regulatory, and labor relations initiatives and ensure proactive resolution of emerging issues.
Drive capability-building programs across teams in alignment with the global people strategy and workforce plans.
Work closely with the BES Primo X Hub Team to ensure HR processes are accurately executed through the HRIS system, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and streamline Hub roles and responsibilities.
Partner with Global Compensation & Benefits, the Payroll Director, and BPO Global HR Processes teams to ensure payroll and benefits for the Global Leadership Team are accurately processed and aligned with both local compliance and global standards.
Collaborate closely with the Global Leadership Team to understand and address senior leadership needs, providing tailored HR solutions and support that enable strategic business outcomes.
Take ownership of special projects and assignments as designated by the Global HR function or local leadership, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Stay up to date with evolving HR trends, employment legislation, and best practices to continuously enhance HR effectiveness and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
