RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

  • Driving Brand performance across key Lighthouse markets in Europe working in close collaboration with PATRÓN Regional Brand Director: Responsible for day-to-day performance of PATRÓN business in a given, key markets – the UK, Spain, France (85% of time) -  partnering with the local Sales, Marketing and Operations teams in owning and providing recommendations over: Commercial forecast and sales plans, S&OP process, and sales performance with a strong focus on growing PATRÓN. Provide support to the rest of the markets (15% of time) with effective implementation & execution of AVQPAP framework for Agave brands.
  • Optimising Through the Line & Commercial Brand Plans:  Ensure that the local commercial plans are being  executed with excellence and in full alignment with consumer agenda & brand objectives in order to deliver against the PATRÓN promises and potential, with support from Brand and Commercial leads locally to deliver against short and long-term commitments. Define, establish and monitor specific targets against the AVQPAP fundamentals in collaboration with sales leadership. Liaise with the Global and local brands teams during the IAP process to ensure that the KPP objectives are being considered and included
  • Perfecting Commercial Influence:  Partner with local market sales leadership, PATRÓN Brand Managers, Sales channel leads,  finance and advocacy teams, to contribute to the development to the local market brand and commercial / channel plans that ensure a disciplined focus on driving commercial performance of PATRÓN; to plan and lead brilliant execution and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets for PATRÓN.
  • Ensuring Reporting & Analytics Delivery:  Lead the organisation and completion of monthly review meetings; leveraging the Patrón Dashboard and interrogating additional data available locally as well as collating and reporting inputs to the VP, Global Commercial Execution.
  • Keeping Patrón Perfect: Present as the local champion and driving force for communication, alignment and delivery of the Keep PATRÓN Process in a specific market, with single minded focusing on achieving the Best10 ambitions through the delivery of the Availability, Visibility, Quality, Price, Advocacy & Promotions fundamentals – via commercial execution, performance and tracking.  Works closely with finance and RGM teams to optimize the value chain and provide guidance to the sales teams on commercial agreements. Thinking both locally but also aware of the wider Regional and Global impact of their market performance.
  • Inspire and Influence Across Functions:  They will need to have the ability to influence at various levels of the brand and sales organisation, and be proficient with handling / reviewing data. NOT responsible for directly executing the activity but will need to be proactive in giving guidance in line with the KPP guidelines, playbooks & brand activity toolkits - as well as involving and passing on support needs / opportunities to the relevant Global team lead.
  • Founders Mentality Management & Coaching of direct reports: Support and coach local market brand, sales and trade activation on Keep PATRÓN Perfect brand fundamentals using the Guidelines, Toolkits & Scorecard to ensure the most effective and sustainable brand growth behaviours.
  • Accelerating Advocacy & Education:  Day to day collaboration with market advocacy function on key PATRÓN educational & engagement programs. Responsible for co-setting KPIs and ensuring that it’s strongly linked to commercial performance & execution.

SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
 

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of luxury and/or super premium spirits industry experience in a combination of sales and customer marketing roles.
  • Great commercial acumen, analytical & execution skills with the ability to translate brand strategies into a tangible commercial advantage. With a strong understanding of channel, price, promotional activity and through-the-line activation.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Exel and Powerpoint. Ability to collate, interrogate and present data in various forms in a variety of online and in person settings.
  • Prior line management experience and track record of coaching, managing and assessing the performance of remote workers.
  • Global volume consumer goods & drinks experience preferred with spirits experience highly desirable. Experience with innovation brands a plus. 
  • Ability to build strong trusting partnerships across all stakeholders, systems and networks to ensure seamless, urgent responsiveness and crisis management. 
  • A depth of leadership experience with the ability to develop and inspire teams to raise the bar on their performance
  • Earlier in your career you will have had on-the-ground experience and time ‘in the market’ and / or front-line sales and/or marketing roles. 
  • Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated understanding of the levers that drive business performance and consumer behaviour in addition to being adept at developing and managing budgets.   
  • Language skills: Fluent English.  Fluency in Spanish and/or French is an advantage.
