YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Responsible for the supply of imported and local products for Latin America Region and end to end Inventory ownership (inventory policies, slow movers, product transitions and innovation supply planning)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Your role has a regional scope where you will be responsible for supply planning for one or more of our warehouses located in Mexico, Panama, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Brazil (3 warehouses) and Chile.
• You are the main responsible for inventory management in the site or sites assigned to your role and you will have a strong connection to the Planning and Logistics organization of the business that you are planning for.
• Ownership of inventory policy: ABC classification, inventory policy proposal, sign off and periodic updates.
• Inventory health tracking, including: lead the forums with demand planning and commercial teams to define action plans for slow moving items, shelf life risks and delisted items’ inventory depletion.
• Planning tool update and analysis to provide information such as coverages, stock outs, excess inventory and other information for decision making.
• Point of contact with global plants to align production plans, project management (first productions, material depletion, etc) and saving or optimization projects (ie. Pallet configuration, portfolio simplification, scheduling improvements, etc)
• Order placement and tracking to secure product availability.
• Develop and maintain regional supply plans to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues, such as production delays, quality issues, or transportation disruptions.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to provide updates on supply availability, production schedules, and delivery timelines.
• Owner of replenishment signals sent from the locations under your scope to all production sites. Supply Planning coordinator needs to develop expertise on planning parameters to ensure that the system reflects accurate needs to the production sites and ensure the correct capacity and material allocation to meet their region supply needs.
• System expert and responsible for adopting the technology defined by the company for the supply planning role.

• Solid understanding of forecasting practices and procedures.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Advanced Excel is a must)
• English - Business fluency / Spanish
• SAP knowledge desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Business, Logistics or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position
