YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Your Opportunity

You will be responsible for inventory management at site, which includes but not limited to Issue-Return of materials, close monitoring of slow moving / non-moving inventory, reduction of detention, development of local vendors for Cartons / Returnable Glass / Scrap. 

Internally your key relationships will be with Site head, Plant finance, Plant quality, Central procurement team, regional teams and externally with vendors, transporters. 

About You
  • You are a passionate individual and willing to continue growing within Bacardi. Your previous experience within Stores & Material planning will help you succeed.
  • Your strong communication skills will enable you to interact with a multitude of organizational levels & external stakeholders

RESPONSIBILITIES

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Play key role in material planning for the site & assist Site head in Production planning.
  • Timely GRN of material & Material reconciliation with gate records (including accuracy / updating of BOMs),  Realtime status of inventory in SAP
  • Issue - Return of Packing material for production, Effective Control on write off & wastages.
  • Key role in scaling up Returnable glass supplies, development of local shipper vendors.
  • Scrap Management at site with optimum realisations for scrap generated.
  • Optimum space utilisation of external warehouses, Optimization of Working capital, JIT approach
  • Key role in planning and reducing detentions.
  • Vendor Management. Improve quality of material, etc.
  • Implement best practices in warehouse management.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Up to 10 years of experience in manufacturing industries – in similar roles managing inventory / stores.
  • Post graduate/MBA
  • Experience in the Spirits and/or Beverage Industry is a distinct advantage. 
  • Experience in additional functions beyond the ones listed above
  • Experience in SAP MRP/ material planning module is preferred; 
  • Knowledge of advanced MS Excel is a must.
