Your Opportunity

The Sr. Analyst Accounts Receivable, reports directly to the OTC Supervisor based in Mexico, and it is responsible for delivering Best In-Class OTC processes in accordance with negotiated Service Level Agreements. The individual will implement and execute process strategies within the following broad functional areas:
  • Collection Management – Manage proper collection activities and efforts to ensure timely and accurate recovery of this important asset 
  • Deductions Settlement – Ensure customer deductions and discrepancies are properly handled and resolved.
This role has contact with many areas of the organization, allowing to have knowledge not only of the collection process, but also with the area of customer service, pricing, taxes, collection, and commercial finance, it is a unique role within the OTC organization, it is an excellent opportunity to make yourself known and be able to contribute in the BEST10.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With our consumer at the heart your key focus will be
  • Execute the collections process cycle (customer contact, escalations, legal referrals, order analysis and release, etc.) to accelerate cash collections, and reduce DSO and overdue percentage for the Mexican market. 
  • Analysis and resolution of customers residuals, deductions, and claims.
  • Analysis of the generated data to determine a collection strategy.
  • Complete monthly tasks such as SOX controls, reports and information delivered to key stake holders.
  • Becoming a problem solver of issues reported by customers and key stake holders
  • Keep track and provide visibility of trends that produces uncollectability (Disputes, Rebates deductions, returns, etc.)
  • Attend regular touchpoint meetings with key stakeholders (Commercial team, local finance, Customer Service and Logistics) to share results, challenges and require support.
  • Consistently propose, meet, or exceed Service Level Agreements.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The skills and experience needed to create your legacy
  • Minimum of 3-year professional collections or OTC processes experiences in progressively responsible roles.  Preferably with Mexico. 
  • Knowledge in accounting  
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP (transactions: FBL5N, FBL1N, FBL3N…), and Microsoft Office Basic Tools (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, One note, Teams…)
  • Flexible and adaptable to execute a role with a scope between core accounting processes and core order to cash processes. 
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Languages: Spanish, English (90% at least)
