Your opportunity
Reporting to the Accounting COE Supervisor, the Accounting Sr Analyst is responsible for performing tasks related to accounting month end close process, account reconciliations, among others.

The incumbent ensures that accounts are properly reconciled and that closing entries are correctly recorded and posted to ensure accurate and timely financial data submissions.

You will gain experience managing accounting processes while also gaining exposure to Period End Close. This role provides support and training needed to develop a well-rounded accounting and finance skillset, which will be the foundation for advancing your career Bacardi.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With our consumer at the heart your key focus will be
  • Perform accounting transactional and analytical tasks, such as manual journal entries processing, accounts reconciliations, clearings and adjustments.
  • Participate in the execution of the following tasks:
    • Process Sysaid tickets assigned related to accounting processes.
    • Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations (BBSR) – Both reconciling & approving  
    • Close calendar development and maintenance.
    • Review and posting of accounting journal entries.
    • Perform accounting checks and reviews.
    • Support A&P and Tech Controllers in accounting matters 
    • Ad hoc reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with internal Bacardi clients as necessary to ensure that work is properly delivered.
  • Consistently meet or exceed Service Level Agreements pertaining accounting processes.
  • Train other members of the team, in a way that his/her technical mastery can be transmitted to them.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage his/her time efficiently. 
  • Detail oriented with the ability to capture information in a clear, concise manner and can adapt information for various audiences. 
  • Proactive individual that can collaborate and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization. 
  • Works well in a team environment and is a self-starter who requires minimal direction and support. 
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to operate with discipline in terms of deadlines completion and follow ups execution.
  • MS Excel applications with intermediate pivot tables and formulas experience.
  • Previous accounting experience (2-3 years).
  • Communication skills: positive experiences communicating with other members of the organization at different levels.
  • Foreign language skills: English 85% or higher written/oral skills.
The following experiences are preferred:
  • Experience in SAP environment.
