RESPONSIBILITIES
- Failure Analysis: Conduct thorough failure analyses using tools such as Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMECA), Bacardi Problem Solving Tool (BPST) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve product failures.
- Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) to ensure consistent product quality. Lead initiative as Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) implementation, support IPST, document review, effectiveness analysis and management of change (MOC).
- Data Analysis: Analyze performance metrics and failure data to identify trends, generate reports, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Process Improvement: Lead projects and other continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, enhance efficiency, and improve overall product quality.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test plans, procedures, reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to incorporate reliability and quality principles into product design and development.
- Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to team members on reliability and quality methodologies to foster a culture of excellence.
- Design and implement a comprehensive predictive maintenance strategy aligned with organizational goals and asset management practices.
- Select and integrate predictive maintenance technologies and tools (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound) to monitor equipment health.
- Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of predictive maintenance activities, findings, and results. Generate reports for stakeholders on program performance and insights.
- Manage the Out of Service Equipment Program. Effectively manage equipment that is temporarily non-operational due to maintenance, repairs, or other issues. This program ensures that out-of-service equipment is tracked, maintained, and eventually restored to operational status, minimizing disruptions to operations.
- Manage Redundancy Equipment Program. Implement monitoring tools to continuously assess the performance and health of both primary and redundant systems. Schedule regular maintenance and testing of redundant equipment to ensure readiness.
- Manage the Preventive Maintenance in SAP.
- Ensure the PM module is properly configured to meet organizational requirements, including settings for maintenance planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Create maintenance plans for equipment or functional locations that outline the frequency and type of preventive maintenance activities (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).
- Develop task lists that specify the detailed steps for maintenance activities, including required materials and tools.
- Set parameters for scheduling, such as start dates, intervals, and planning categories.
- Monitor the status of work orders in real time to track completion and any delays.
- Use SAP reporting tools to analyze maintenance performance, including compliance with maintenance schedules and resource utilization.
- Performance Metrics: Analyze KPIs related to preventive maintenance, such as mean time between failures (MTBF) and maintenance costs.
- Ensure that the PM module is integrated with Materials Management (MM) for inventory control and procurement of maintenance materials.
