Your Opportunity

As a Patron Brand Ambassador (India), the appointed entity will be the leading expert on the Patrón portfolio. She/he will embody and represent the brand image and values externally and internally. 

The Brand Ambassador will be the visible face of the brand across local markets and collaborate closely with the Brand, Customer Marketing and Advocacy teams to increase the awareness of our brand with key influencers in the trade. 

The BA needs to embody in-depth knowledge of the Tequila, Mezcal and white Spirits Category, the Brand and the Patrón heritage along with her/his ability to communicate and influence consumers which will be a critical metric for performance evaluation. 

About You

RESPONSIBILITIES

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • As the visible face of the brand in, BA will represent the brand at key trade events across India Regions 
  • Lead Patrón advocacy across India including mentoring and education, drive execution with consistency, and develop programming to drive liquid to lips at scale for both trade and consumers as well as internal.
  • The BA will develop relationships with key stakeholders in the ON-TRADE channel (i.e. Bartenders and Bar Owners) and OFF TRADE (distributors, retailers, sales) and influence the positioning of Patrón across our core cities. As well as influential industry adjacent persons.
  • The designatory will act as the in-house expert and will support the Advocacy/Customer/Brand Marketing and Category teams on channel strategy and category plans.
  • She/he will develop and drive Brand and Category training programs for local Trade and Brand Ambassadors.
  • Participating Actively in Event Marketing 
  • The brand ambassador is expected to participate in all events that the brand will hold and organise throughout the year. The ambassador will be the face of the brand and hence participate in all the brand events and will represent the brand in consumer and trade events. 
  • Trade events: Consumer Trainings: The format will be provided by the advocacy & marketing team and the trainings will be organised by the regional advocacy or trade marketing team & to be conducted by the Brand Ambassador with the help of the local Trade Ambassador.
  • Consumer Trainings: The format will be provided by the advocacy & marketing team and the trainings will be organised by the regional trade marketing team, sales team, or advocacy team & to be conducted by the Brand Ambassador with the help of the local Trade Ambassador.
  • Patrón large format events and ATL Digital Campaigns: Need participation of the Brand Ambassador in Brand owned properties, details & Calendar will be provided by the advocacy & marketing team.
  • Media Profiling and Promoting the Brand via Social Media Handles: The respective brand ambassador is expected to positively represent the brand at all his/her social media handles and channels. The content would be provided by the brand “Bombay Sapphire” itself and be available for all PR interactions.
  • Providing Feedback and Insights on New Products and Launches: The brand ambassador needs to exude creativity, innovation and understanding of the category in context to local consumer behaviours so that she/he can add valuable inputs to product innovation, limited edition rollouts and new product launches (if any).
  • Miscellaneous requirements: Knowledge and working practice of bars is essential – as is the commitment to work flexible, late hours as work requires. This role is varied, and the appointed BA will require to travel extensively to stay connected with all stakeholders.
