Your Opportunity

This is an amazing opportunity to be part of the MENAT commercial team as Area Manager LIT. Your principal role will be to manage distributor relations, capture market dynamics and react to growth opportunities in your market. Create legacy for the brands and contribute to key decisions that will significantly impact our brand presence and positioning in the market. You will be based in Istanbul. The role reports into Commercial Director MENAT. 

About You 

As the Area Manager LIT, you will be accountable for delivering value and financial impact in The Gulf.  Your ability to manage your distributors at any given time will be key, and motivating distributors to achieve their targets and celebrate excellence.


With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:

Deliver Results and Excellence in Execution:
  • Deliver key financial targets (NSV, Gross Margin, Overheads, Profitability, ROI, Value Share) versus budget.
  • Responsible to set up RTM, with distributors and wholesalers’ network to deliver key Commercial targets.
  • Building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with distributors, Off and On Trade customer partnerships.
  • Influence and input to the Hub IAP to ensure Country plans meet Customer needs to shape and deliver the customer and channel strategy of the Country to maximize long term value to the company
  • Control in market Value Chain with regular updates based on information from all stakeholders.
  • Monitor supply chain to ensure smooth market supply & maintain a high level of shipment forecast accuracy
  • Ensuring optimum distribution and visibility of our brands (AVQPAP) across channels
  • Control, manage and negotiate contracts for distribution agreements
  • Monitoring and reporting competition in the market
  • Best execution of Brand Plans with distributors and local trade to build long-term sustainable brand equity
  • Responsible for creating and delivering the strategy inline with #BEST10 & regional commitment of Billion & Beyond. 
Develop talent and capability 
  • Ensuring that your distributors have resources needed to deliver desired results (P&L, Customer Marketing, Execution)
  • Ensuring all distributors understand the company policies and culture
Create a winning team
  • Motivate distributors to achieve their targets and celebrate excellence


The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Masters with a Sales or Marketing specialisation
  • Minimum 10 to 12 years sales/marketing experience in FMCG or Alcohol and Beverage industry
  • Excellent written and spoken communication in English
  • Good financial acumen and exposure to managing Sales and P&Ls
  • Experience in managing a market end to end
  • Team Management experience and leadership a must
  • Distributor Management expertise is key criterion
  • Local Knowledge is a bonus
  • Knowledge of the spirits industry and Turkish market and possibly good understanding of Levant culture
