YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a MUSEUM SHOP & E-SHOP Intern who will work closely with the Operation Manager in Casa Martini to support on a wide variety of tasks and projects in retail and tour experience with particular focus on the organization of the service offered.   This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to start a career in Hospitality, Retail or Digital Commerce in the spirits industry. In return you will be working with passionate people in a nice office environment and have the opportunity to develop your skills. 

Casa Martini MUSEUM SUPPORT: the candidate will act as a guide to introduce visitors to the Martini e Rossi philosophy.

Store Casa Martini SUPPORT SHOP: customer support and sales assistance, cash management for issuing museum tickets.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Functions and Responsibilities :

·        Assist and guide visitors in Casa Martini Museum

·        Customer support and sales assistance

·        Assist in selling box ticket office with relative use of the cash desk and POS

·        Assist in updating the museum package sales management system

·        Assist in updating the physical and online stock storage and inventory management system

·        Assist in updating the cash management system and daily, weekly and monthly accounting administration

·        Monitor and coordinate and support host and shop team

·        Guidelines for visual merchandising coordinated by the marketing manager in accordance with the inputs received from the store manager

·        Support the store manager for the image of the store

·        Support the museum manager for the image of the museum

·        Merchandising & Point of Sale (POS) Excellence: ensure excellent planning and execution of our in-store activities

·        Analysis and reports: conducting generic retail reports and sell-out analyzes on customer development; conduct online audits of top sellers and customer evolution online

·        Management of e-commerce page with descriptions, images, sales seasons, promotions

·        Support the marketing manager for the social media


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Management or similar field.

A post graduate degree is a plus and any exposure or experience in spirits industry would be ideal. 

 

Languages : Fluent in English is a must.

 

Skills & Knowledge required :

o  Strong analytical skills is a must (excellent knowledge of Excel)

o  Is comfortable with data and numbers

o  Strong curiosity for the retail environment, customers and shoppers behavior

o  Business curiosity

o  Strong interpersonal skills

o  Effective communication skills, enthusiasm and ready for sale

o  Excellent organizational skills

o  Ability to adapt to a multicultural environment

o  Good in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

o  Ability to work independently as well as have a collaborative nature to work in a team environment

Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

What we offer :

The internship will start as soon as possible and will last no less than 1000 hours.

A full-time commitment is foreseen from Thursday to Monday from 10.30 to 19.30
