Your Opportunity

To contribute in building of procurement policy and process, sourcing strategies for different categories in order to maximize the quality and value that Bacardi procurement is delivering to our businesses.

Ensure efficient implementation of the category and sourcing strategies in the end markets within the Americas Region in close collaboration with Global Procurement team and Regional business partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • In this role you will be responsible for supporting development of Marketing Procurement category strategies (PR, Creative services, POSM, Experiential and Advocacy), ensuring procurement category plans are aligned and agreed with business objectives.
  • Work in close partnership with Regional Procurement teams to support implementation of category strategy plans in the regions, ensuring right sourcing models are in place, value for money and efficiencies are secured for the business.
  • Build long-term relationship with key stakeholders. Consult and take continuous input on business priorities, marketing plans and activities.
  • Manage the relationship with critical suppliers, ensuring competitive cost models and commercial arrangements established.
  • Lead key supplier performance measurement and assessment to foster continuous improvement of commercial, innovation and ESG elements of marketing spend.
  • Work in collaboration with Legal, Finance and ESG teams to maintain right governance and compliance to internal and external requirements.
  • Conduct markets analysis, lead supplier selection process, including the execution of RFPs, RFQs, and other sourcing activities.
  • Report on the global category progress and performance, using smart objectives and agreed key metrics.
  • Build and maintain category knowledge of industry trends, best practices and suppliers landscape. 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably in a multinational environment in a complex matrix structure. Cross functional experiences are also valued.
  • Analytical skills to perform category analysis in support of Procurement category strategy development and execution.
  • Excellent negotiations and relationship management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Demonstrated project management experience in leading cross-functional/international projects.
  • Great presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Preferred:
  • Proficiency with core Procurement skills (e.g. Supplier Management and Performance, Supply Market Analysis, Cost Modelling, Category Management).
  • A proven record of achieving cost savings through negotiations/ operational change.
