Your opportunity
A unique opportunity to support the development and implementation of Bacardi’s Global Health & Safety program: Primo Safe, within the 8 sites (Whisky and gin distilleries, maturation sites plus bulk and bottling operations) which constitute the UK Supply Chain operations centre.

About you
This is an opportunity to join a small team with a broad portfolio across the entire UK business. Therefore you have to be team oriented, but self driven and motivated capable of working with minimum supervision. This role requires someone who pays attention to detail, someone prepared to get involved and deal with Primo’s at all levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With our consumer at the heart your key focus will be
  • Maintain and continually improve a comprehensive QEHS Management system to cover all JDSL operations that meet the business requirements and to ensure that Bacardi’s Global Standards are met. 
  • Co-ordinate Site Inspections on a monthly basis, logging and tracking actions to ensure they are completed and closed off.
  • Calibration and maintenance of gas monitors for production and distilleries.
  • Change Control Facilitator – Implementation and maintenance of the change control system. 
  • Document Control – Implementation and maintenance of the document control system.
  • Co-ordinate and manage ISO Internal audit schedules and systems to ensure audits are completed as per the planned arrangements and appropriate corrective actions are logged and tracked to completion.
  • Provide business performance and appropriate reports and any other internal review processes, including monthly EHS KPI data and EHS Steering Group slides.
  • Conduct EHS Inductions for new employees.
  • Build and develop cross-functional relationships to ensure appropriate procedures are established and maintained
  • Act as a Champion for SQS across the business including encouraging personnel to report hazards, unsafe practices, opportunities for improvement, near misses, incidents and behavioural safety observations.  Support the investigation and close out of Quality and EHS incidents.
  • Ensure External and Cross Audit preparedness.
  • Ensure effective implementation of OneQEHS/Sharepoint systems.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The skills and experience needed to create your legacy
  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years SQS functional experience in manufacturing or process industries
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations
