Your Opportunity

With overall responsibility for the largest P&L in the business encompassing Grocery, E Commerce & Prestige accounts, you need to be build a high performing team that delivers consistently against key metrics. You need to be highly influential both internally and externally with strong stake holder management skills. The ability to deliver a compelling vision and taking it to action is essential. You will also be an influential member of the Commercial leadership team, setting the standards of the business and supporting the Business Unit Director.

  • Experience of working with and successfully negotiating with Top Grocer accounts is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With Our Consumer At The Heart Your Key Focus Will Be:

We have a number of established leading brands, but also a portfolio ready to disrupt the market - we want you to be at the forefront of shaping categories from the start and leave an amazing legacy as a result:
  • Delivery of Grocery, Prestige and Ecom key KPI’s: NSV, GP, Gross Margin, Market Share, Price Delivery, Invoicing, Cash collection. 
  • Leadership and management of Team of 6 Direct Report and total team of 14 (including dotted line reports).
  • Create a team culture which focussed on customer centricity, creativity and entrepreneurialism.  
  • Ensure strong JBP’s are negotiated creating joint value for us and the customer and delivering: NSV/ GP Growth, Price increases, strong activation plans. 
  • Pursue Grocery Convenience and Digital growth opportunities to exceed fair share.
  • Manage Team Structure Investment via T&E. Recommend on how structure remains agile.
  • Forecast forward channel performance, report on this weekly.
  • Lead and Participate in Business wide initiatives such as Belonging or Gross Margin Council initiatives. 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The Skills And Experience Needed To Create Your Legacy:
  • Experience of working with Grocery Accounts Essential. Show Track record of delivery of KPI’s. Can demonstrate the negotiation of successful JBP’s/ Price Increase in Top 4 Grocers – delivering through the team.
  • Background of delivering commercial results.
  • Set a culture of team engagement, be both a team player and a team builder.
  • Be able to build a strong internal and external network of stake holders. Existing FMCG Network in place with both customers & other branded companies.
  • Ability to lead and inspire your team, through a culture of coaching & leading by example.
  • Ability to define and articulate a compelling vision and drive through to action and results.
  • Use Data to deliver Insight and Action.
