YOUR OPPORTUNITY

The Facilitator plans, coordinates and supervises daily maintenance work on electrical equipment, control systems and instrumentation in the various areas of the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises the planned preventive and corrective work of the electrical equipment and others, executed by internal and external personnel, ensuring compliance with the established work Plan.
  • Assigns, coordinates and supervises unplanned corrective work of electrical equipment, systems, buildings, offices and "grounds" of internal and external personnel.
  • Ensures that the required information (work hours) and the closure of work orders are documented daily and up to date in the Maintenance CMMS.
  • Ensures compliance with the Safe Work Permit procedure.
  • Ensures that the required documentation of maintenance activities is carried out following good documentation practices.
  • Keeps the client informed of the status of work orders in the area.
  • Provide support in the evaluation and optimization of the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Program.
  • Provide support in the planning and coordination of work orders in the area.
  • Identifies items that should be included in the material warehouse inventory and provides support in its optimization.
  • Identifies activities that require procedures and work instructions and leads their development.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the 5Ss Program of the facility.
  • Ensures that facility plans/diagrams are kept up to date.
  • Identify recurring failures that need to be analyzed with a troubleshooting tool and lead the analysis.
  • Evaluates complex technical problems and recommends solutions.
  • Supervises the electrical maintenance union employees including prepare attendance reports, authorize licenses and administer corresponding discipline. 
  • Evaluate electrical union employee’s performance. 
  • In conjunction with the Team Owner, plan and authorize overtime work.
  • Give support in the planning, coordination and execution of projects.
  • Give support in the analysis of the results of the metrics of the Maintenance Department. 
  • Provide support in keeping the List of Critical Equipment of the Facility up to date.
  • Collaborate with Team Owner to identify and coordinate training opportunities for the associates of the Maintenance Department.
  • Give support in the definition of the execution standards of the manufacturing areas.
  • Promotes culture of continuous improvement.
  • Comply with and ensure compliance with the standards, policies and procedures of Environment, Health, Safety, Quality established by the company.
  • Carry out other functions related to the position as necessary.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Education:
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree Electrical Engineering
  • Preferred: Master’s degree Engineering, Management or equivalent
Experience
  • Required
    • 3 – 5 years Electrical Engineering 
    • 1 – 3 Years Electrical Maintenance Supervision
    • 2 – 4 Years CMMS SAP USE 
    • 0 – 1 Years ISO 9000, ISO 14000, OSHA 18000 
    • 0 – 1 Years GMP/GDP X
    • 0 – 1 Years Design and implement Predictive and Preventive Maintenance 
  • Preferred:
    • 1 – 2 Years Project Management 
    • 0 – 1 Years Drawing Analyzing 
Licenses / Certifications
  • Preferred Professional Engineer license 
Required Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish 
  • Familiarity in electronic systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Use of industry-specific tools to analyze and test electronics 
  • Effective use of the Internet and e-mail
