Your Opportunity

This is your opportunity to operate as a true strategic partner to Bacardi’s business operations in the Europe region. As P&L Director you will lead the East Region to deliver a comprehensive product supply plan designed to support significant company growth in Eastern Europe. You will be a key member of the leadership team and interact and collaborate closely with the commercial team to deliver the best possible service to our customers. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home 40% of the time and 60% from the Warsaw office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Responsible for the organizational design of the regional markets, plants and global function stakeholders, whilst being committed to developing talent and energizing high performance culture and standards across the supply chain team environment (including direct reports) to achieve functional priorities and company goals.
  • Respect Regulations and Legislations within region whilst establishing policies, procedures, metrics and resource requirements to ensure reliability, speed, convenience and best customer perceived value
  • Lead warehouse optimization and footprint initiatives including locations, Route to Market, layouts, and decisions on which products to carry in different warehouses
  • Your scope will also be inclusive of Third-Party Logistics performance; responsibilities to optimize warehousing and domestic Route to Market; manage Distribution Costs and the Value Creation Program to beat year on year inflation as a minimum
  • Better inventory turnover to reduce obsolescence across the business (Warehouse and Plants). Ensuring optimal levels, prevent and monitor Write Offs with portfolio SKU rationalization; track third party customer inventory to ensure monthly relevant DIOH (Days of Inventory On Hand) targets and order lead time
  • Accountable for Sales and Operations Planning and Long-Term Demand planning, supported by a robust collaboration with internal (sales and marketing teams) and external (key customers) stakeholders
  • Innovation & portfolio management: You will be responsible to manage and coordinate our portfolio optimization resources and increasing our profitability
  • Co-Develop Regional Supply Chain strategy to support country growth and its implementation including systems/tools/process enhancements for planning, logistics, fulfilment, warehousing and inventory management (as required) 
  • Manage & drive improvements in the Supply Chain process for the Eastern Region, leading to increase forecast accuracy, to enable optimal customer engagement and service levels together with business profitability, with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Own a critical Leadership role, being an active and vocal representative of the Planning and Logistics team, acting as a key interface for all Supply Chain activities within region, delivering insights and generating ideas, solutions and challenges to amplify growth

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy
  • Fluency in English is mandatory and Polish language nice to have.
  • Broad range of digital skills
  • Determination to succeed in a new environment whilst building sustainable relations with own team and customers 
  • Good knowledge with SAP, VMI (vendor management inventory), WMS (warehouse management system) are preferable
  • Earlier in your career you will have had on the ground experience and time in front-line supply chain / logistics roles. Having previous exposure to Sales and Finance is a plus
  • Results oriented change agent with analytical skills
  • High commercial acumen with a demonstrated understanding of the levers that drive business performance in addition to being adept at developing and managing budgets 
  • Assertive individual with good negotiation skills and capability to build strong trusting partnerships across all stakeholders, systems and networks to ensure seamless, urgent responsiveness and crisis management
  • People Management experience leading a team, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performance culture. This role will require you to lead 6 direct reports and motivate a total of 20+ people across the cluster
  • Track record in global volume consumer goods and as part of matrix organization. Experience operating in the drinks and spirits sector is highly desirable
  • 8+ years experience in Supply Chain with exemplary history of success customer side and in depth knowledge of planning, warehousing and logistics, customer service, within the Eastern Europe region
