YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Responsible for Demand Planning Process for South America (BR, EC, BO and PE), ensuring business alignment towards forecast accuracy, BIAS and IBP process. . It´s the leader of S&OP process, leading entire process with Commercial team, some distributors and whole Leadership team directly and through your team. S&OP process for South America has the purpose to allow proper communicate main changes and issues raised during the entire process and also work closely among all different departments. Understand end to end process and impacts on different areas and identify priorities to mitigate risks and improve forecast accuracy with different techniques are key for success on this position

RESPONSIBILITIES

With our consumer at the heart your key focus will be
  • Demand for indirect market – Sell Out Analysis, VMI proposals, Replenishment Forecast definition BO, EC and PERU
  • Responsible for South America Overview analysis – data consolidation, support on commercial decisions based on quantitative analysis
  • Lead Demand and IBP monthly analysis 
  • Manage a team with 3 people
  • Supporting LTDP (Long Term Demand Planning) process, challenging assumptions and helping on build data based information
  • Deliver continuously improve forecasting techniques (as statistical/IA/others), method, and approach to make a step change on forecast accuracy – focused on Paretto analysis
  • Support Activity Management on the innovation process to deliver new launches, challenge when appropriate, helping team to build a better and sustainable process, avoiding ruptures and inventory excess
  • Responsible and co-responsible for KPI´s such as BIAS, Accuracy, Orders delay, defining and supporting action plans to improve them.  
  • Lead S&OP process to support the cross functional team forecast consensus (Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance) .
  • Responsible for benchmarkings and deploy local/global strategy for demand planning team
  • End to end process overview to cooperate and help other departments that are impacted by info generated on his/her team such as logistics, customer service, commercial and finance.
  • Assure alignment between S&OP data and Finance information, understanding and address gaps on timely manner to avoid any risks.

Critical Experiences for Success 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Business, Logistics or equivalent 
  • SAP ECC and SAP APO (Required – similar ERP can be analysed).
  • Project Management Experience (Required).
  • People management (desirable)
  • Desirable experience on other areas of Supply Chain as Supply Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, etc.
  • Solid understanding of forecasting and demand processes (Required).
  • Advanced English (Required)
  • Spanish (Required to be comfortable in leading meetings in spanish)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Demand planning, forecasting role (Required). 
  • Good knowledge of Excel (Required).
  • Power BI or similar knowledge is desired (Wanted).
