What does a Customer Marketing Manager, On Trade do?

The person in charge of the position of Customer Marketing Manager in On premise canal will be responsible for the development of strategic and tactical plans for the channel (consumption centers such as bars, restaurants, cantinas) such plans should be developed in conjunction with the commercial team of the channel and the marketing area, the activities will be designed to: Build the brands in the channel, increase the sell out, increase the average transaction ticket, recruit new consumers, will also be responsible for designing loyalty programs, incentives to second sales forces, brand activation programs in mainstream and premium segment and platform development in key areas. Always results oriented.

In addition you will manage a whole business with strategic and operational responsibilities, from A&P budget management and control, business plan development, support in the creation and fulfillment of top client JBps to point of sale execution, you will be in charge of reporting to the executive team on these activities, and ensure the correct implementation in a timely manner, this will be an important part of your monthly, quarterly and annual KPI's.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
  • Elaboración, implementación y seguimiento a los planes del canal (apegarse a la cultura de alto desempeño , que se reconoce por siempre exceder las expectativas)
  • Balance en la elaboración de planes estratégicos y tácticos (corto, mediano y largo plazo)
  • Generación de proyectos por cliente, de acuerdo a venta y rentabilidad
  • Control y supervisión del presupuesto asignado
  • Desarrollo y ejecución de plataformas estratégicas que construyan sobre una temporalidad en el canal con actividades Tailor made para incremento de sell out
  • Desarrollo de plataformas Brand, shopper and consumer experience
  • Desarrollo de planes de canal para el lanzamiento o relanzamiento de nuevos productos
  • Asegurar la excelencia en ejecución de los planes de los canales, a través de retro planning, visitas de campo verificando la aplicación de mecánicas, con foco en el logro de objetivos y soporte al equipo de ventas.
  • Elaboración de reportes de desempeño (M&E). 
  • Análisis de competitividad de portafolio en los diferentes Canales/Clientes.
  • Influenciar a las distintas áreas: finanzas, comercial, logística, operaciones, almacén, etc. Para asegurar la correcta operación del negocio.
  • Disciplina operativa probada: mente analítica para operar con procesos y rutinas con su equipo interno y externo
  • Comunicación con los stake holders 
  • En la oficina el trabajo es más enfocado a análisis semanales/tracking de sell out por marca de acuerdo a los objetivos establecidos por cliente, canal, administración de presupuesto, seguimiento y dirección al equipo a su cargo. Y en campo debe de conocer de manera detallada el manejo, función y operación del canal, visitar clientes para presentar innovación y/o planes, supervisar activaciones y validar la ejecución de las marcas y plataformas
  • Este puesto requiere que la persona esté en la oficina 80% y en campo 20%.
  • El gerente de Customer MKT debe contar con un alto nivel de drive, liderazgo e influencia, organización, trabajo en equipo, foco en ejecución y alto sentido de urgencia, speed to market es la clave para el éxito de la posición.
  • También será el responsable del M&E de las iniciativas a su cargo, pasando por A&P, hasta la rentabilidad de total negocio

  • Al menos 5 años de experiencia en posiciones de trade marketing o Customer marketing o Ventas en empresas de consumo masivo
  • Manejo de Marcas, Conocimiento de canales (Trade), manejo de P&L, ejecución de planes en el PDV, planeación y estrategia, control de presupuesto.
