Your Opportunity

The key role in partnering with and advising the Plant Operations team, in both strategic and operational areas, delivering best in class financial analysis, enabling decision making to deliver excellence in execution across key performance indicators.

Responsible of delivering value added performance reporting and driving Plant Operations accountability on financial results. Ensuring effective cost control for local management and challenge status quo to help improve overall Operations performance.

Fully engaged member of France Supply Finance team to deliver Finance Business support to our France Manufacturing and Spirits sites.

You have proven finance experience and expertise partnering across various supply chain areas including innovation, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics.

With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be:

Finance Business Partner of Operations: understand business drivers, share the opinion, and challenge Operations to improve performance
  • Monitor performance: understand business drivers and analyse facts to understand true performance
  • Drive discussions with plant managers on deviations to the plan and recovery actions
  • Provide financial decision support (e.g. operations decision support, innovation, CAPEX decision support, cost control, etc.) to the plant management 
  • Provide financial and operational planning, forecasting and analysis/commentary on a monthly basis
  • Ensure internal and external audits are fully supported and action plans are in place
  • Drive best in class processes across the plant/ France Supply to generate standardization and efficiency
  • Preparation of performance management reports, and provide management dashboard, ensuring a provision of interpretation and commentary
  • Lead business case costing (new product development, CAPEX and savings)
Working Capital Management
  • Analyse and interpret P&L including costs, absorption, material variances, ROI variances to identify business perfomance drivers and improvement opportunities.
  • Challenge CAPEX Operations projects to maximise ROI and prioritize resource allocation
  • Apply inventory & write off policies
Responsible for Financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Manage all aspects of the month end performance reporting based on SAP & TM1 tools and year end closing
  • Owner and leader of site budgeting & forecasting process
  • Identify business Risks and Opportunities with financial impacts
  • Standards costing and SAP Product Costing: annual standard costs preparation, validation, and communication
Projects and Capital Expenditure
  • Appraise new projects, including savings and payback calculations
  • CAPEX controlling, support delivery of project within agreed budgets, including both CAPEX and savings if relevant
Internal control & compliance
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and with Group Financial Reporting rules
  • Responsible of SOX procedures for sites


The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy

  • 5+ years of financial management experience in consumer goods industry covering field and corporate assignments, working in an international environment, including roles in manufacturing finance area
  • Experience in Spirits and/or Beverage industry is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in finance & accounting (or related area)
Language Skills
  • Fluent French and English (written and verbal), other languages an asset
Functional Excellence
  • Steering Financial Performance through advanced knowledge and use of target setting, scenario planning, resource allocation and working capital management
  • Decision Support with strong / advanced ability to identify & frame issues, structure & integrate information, and draw insights & recommendations from analysis
  • Team Leadership across finance team and multifunction project teams
  • Transactional Efficiency being experienced in process standardisation & optimization, business reporting as well as integrated performance management system knowledge & usage
  • Accounting – advanced in management and cost accounting
  • Control Environment – experienced developing internal policies & controls, and competent in business risk assessment and audit techniques
Technical Skills
  • Digital skills in modern supply chain organization including automation, planning, networking and synchronisation tools build on our foundations of SAP, MS Office and other industry specific technology;
  • Proficient in MS Office - PowerPoint, Excel; Outlook, etc.;
  • Knowledge of SAP, SAP Power BI, and Cognos modules and capabilities is distinct advantage
