RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for managing the brand performance in India focusing on building the brand in top accounts by supporting the brand team, local Sales team & advocacy teams with excellent execution.
- Responsible for developing and executing strategy with commercial teams to win in hotspots with Customer connect , driving fundamentals, and excellent execution.
- Lead the team monthly review meetings; maintaining scorecard and interrogating additional data available locally as well as collating and reporting inputs to the Local and regional leadership teams.
- Ensure that the local brand plans are being executed with excellence to deliver against the PATRÓN brand promises and potential, with support Marketing and Commercial members to deliver against short and long-term commitments.
- Define, establish, and monitor specific targets against the AVQPAP fundamentals across channels with collaboration with sales leadership. Liaise with the brands teams during the IAP process to ensure that the key objectives are being considered and included.
- Support local market sales and advocacy team on Keep brand fundamentals using the Guidelines, Toolkits & Scorecard to ensure the most effective and sustainable brand growth behaviours.
- Incumbent is responsible to partner with regions, Sales channel leads, finance and advocacy teams, to contribute to the development to the local market brand and commercial / channel plans that ensure a disciplined focus on driving commercial performance of the brand Portfolio; to plan and lead brilliant execution and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets for PATRÓN.
- They will need to have the ability to influence at various levels of the sales organisation and be proficient with handling / reviewing data. Responsible for directly executing the activity , be proactive in giving guidance in line with the, playbooks & brand activity toolkits - as well as involving and passing on support needs / opportunities to the relevant team leads
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in multiple specialty areas: planning & execution of activations, leveraging new/emerging channels for recruitments, promotions, events, agency management etc.
- Commercial or trade marketing experience preferably with a Beverages/ FMCG / alco- beverage industry. Drinks and Lifestyle Category experience is an advantage.
- Great commercial acumen and the ability to translate great brand strategies into a tangible commercial advantage with a strong understanding of promotional activity and through-the-line activation.
- Ability to interpret marketing vision and drive value adding insights to increase market share or drive volumes.
- Strong analytical & financial skills and budget management experience
- Excellent presentation skills with strong interpersonal leadership and team management skills
- Ability to communicate at different organization levels , Prior Experience in stakeholders outside of India will be an added advantage
- Globally minded and able to demonstrate cross-cultural understanding and sensitivity.
- Ability to influence various stakeholders, navigate through ambiguity to provide clear directions for the larger commercial teams
- Great communication skills and gravitas with the ability to present credibly to local and global stakeholders.
