Your Opportunity

As a Business Development Executive, the sustainable growth of a diverse customer base in in your hands. You will show a disciplined yet innovative approach to engaging customers, adding value to their business whilst activating in their outlets brilliantly, all in line with Bacardi Martini’s strategic direction.
In this role you will report directly to the Field Sales Manager and play an integral part in the field sales team’s pursuit for market share growth and trade advocacy.

About You
  • With a Founder’s mentality approach, you play a role in the territory’s growth and success by driving customer centric collaboration across the business finding ways to deliver against our strategy and annual plan.
  • You will be a role model of the Bacardi’ Family culture and embody this cultural pillar through excellent partnerships with our customers, building value-based cross-functional relationships, working with the On-Trade sales team to grow and succeed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With Our Consumer At The Core Your Key Focus Will Be:

You will be required to deliver defined outcomes through the execution of sales strategies and processes with your selected customers. In this role you will work with varying types of outlets and engage at all levels of management within them. The role will require you to be agile in your approach, manage conflicting priorities effectively whilst maintaining a high level of discipline to ensure your customer base sees Bacardi-Martini Australia as a preferred business partner.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Champion the Customer Relationship in the territory for Bacardi-Martini
  • Activation and executional excellence within the territory (Western Sydney)
  • Effective advocacy of the key brands
  • Effectively manage territory planning and administration
  • Deliver on “Picture of Success” sales driver targets.
  • Net Sales Revenue Growth: Grow your territory in line with National Budgeted growth rates measured through sales data, reviewed annually as per company timelines (EES)
  • Executional Excellence:  Growth of Picture of Success sales driver total scores measured through weekly scorecard and reviewed quarterly.
  • Territory Management (Western Sydney): Execution of agreed journey plan measured weekly through scorecard and reviewed quarterly.
  • New Business: Successfully sourced new business in line with targets agreed to by leader measured through sales data and Mobile touch

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The Skills And Experience Needed To Create Your Legacy:
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Previous sales experience in FMCG – Preferred but not essential
  • Connection with the local Hospitality scene in your territory– Preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, strong planning and negotiation skills in your current role.
  • Computer literacy and strong administrative abilities
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Tertiary Qualifications are preferred but are not essential. 
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
