Do you enjoy leading a team of hospitality professional for event and bar activations that builds brand equity and drive the brand forward? Do you like collaborating with others to bring great ideas to life?

We need a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our event and bar team with excellent event planning and execution. We host both consumers contracted internal and external events featuring Angel’s Envy branded internal events. Both feature our amazing cocktail programs and an opportunity to tour or sneak peek into our distillery operations. We are a one-of-a-kind venue that overlooks Downtown Louisville and the Ohio River bridges.


RESPONSIBILITIES

·         The Brand Home Events and Bar Manager is responsible for the strategy and leadership for a highly successful event and bar program with a focus on delivering a brand aligned customer experience that builds equity for the Angel’s Envy brand and delivers on the defined budget.

·         Understanding the power of great hospitality and its influence on our guests’ consumer journey from beginning to end.

·         The Brand Home Events and Bar Manager is a dynamic position focused on the execution of hospitality (bar and event) operations along with the management, growth and profitability of the program and team.

·         This role is in charge with being a catalyst for growing a self-aware, kind, and passionate team.

·         Lead planning meetings with team to determine department objectives and desired outcomes, align meeting strategy to brand home and brand strategy, purpose, and values.  Recommend budget goals and expenditures.

·         Provides both experience and creativity to empower the team to deliver thoughtful and creative experiences, including finding opportunities to surprise and delight guests.

·         Work cross functionally with Brand Home Team, Brand Team, Field Team, and Bacardi partners to collaborate and ensure all functions are involved and driving towards goals on time and within budget for large-scale Brand Home events.

·         Collaborates with other departments (tours, distillery production etc.) for seamless operations for team members, vendors, etc.

·         Responsible for product ordering, product choice, and menu development, referring to utilizing the brand cocktail strategy and R&D sessions with the team. 

·         Engage and nurture relationships with local businesses/vendors to maximize local presence, develop strong relationships with community, to ensure Angel’s Envy is winning locally.

·         Responsible for hiring, motivating, training, coaching, and empowering all direct reports in department.

·         Create, distribute, and train team on Standard Operating Procedures both internally and externally.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

·        College Degree in business, hospitality, communication, or other related field algin with minimum of five (5) years’ experience or an equivalent combination of training, experience and/or education.

·         Prior experience in an event and/or bar leadership role with a proven record of success.

·         Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws are regulations as it relates to food, liquor. Strong understanding of responsibility as it relates to consumption of alcohol. STAR certified.

·         Competencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

·         Knowledge of Tripleseat and Anchor a plus.

·      Leadership savvy – ensure high levels of performance, excellent communication, and delivery. Own your business area.

·         Accountable budget management – ensure the most effective use of the company’s resources and that all finances are properly accounted for. Understand and possess a sales mentality. Strong understanding of financial operations within a bar operation.

·         Calm demeanor – ability to lead others during stressful or high-volume times with a friendly demeanor.

·         Ability to manage through ambiguity and change – ability to adapt through change, unexpected situations and be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

·         Collaborative – possess the understanding and knowledge that we are stronger when we collaborate with others.
