YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Responsible for Demand Planning Process for South America (BR, EC, BO and PE), ensuring business alignment towards forecast accuracy, BIAS and IBP process. . It´s a key person inside S&OP process, leading demand meetings with Commercial team as well direct with distributors. Work to build the best sales forecast based on historical demand data and future launch projects. Lead S&OP process for South America to proper communicate main changes and issues raised during the entire process and also work closely to Supply Planning team to ensure availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Demand for direct Markets – Forecast Acuracy, BIAS, Paretto analysis, Sell Out Analysis and sell in suggestion
  • Demand for indirect market – Sell Out Analysis, VMI proposals, Replenishment Forecast definition
  • Responsible for South America Overview analysis – data consolidation, support on commercial decisions based on quantitative analysis
  • Lead Demand and IBP monthly analysis and pre meetings and support sign off meeting with Business.
  • Supporting LTDP (Long Term Demand Planning) process.
  • Provide insights of any depletions/sell in trend variance, comparison with historical behaviour, to agree a new forecast with the commercial team.
  • Assemble and analyse all data pertinent to supporting the S&OP / Forecast, through models maintenance (historical sales, trends, open orders, seasonality, promotions, and Distributor inventory).
  • Deliver continuously improve forecasting techniques (as statistical/IA/others), method, and approach to make a step change on forecast accuracy – focused on Paretto analysis
  • Support Activity Management on the innovation process to deliver new launches, challenge when appropriate.
  • Responsible and co-responsible for KPI´s such as BIAS, Accuracy, Orders delay, defining and supporting action plans to improve them.  
  • Lead S&OP process to support the cross functional team forecast consensus (Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance) 
  • Ensure the Forecast Submission in APO for BR, EC, BO and PE by SKU/ Plant.
  • Build purchasing plan suggestion for distributor markets based on sell out projection and customer inventory target (replenishment forecast)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Critical Experiences for Success 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Business, Logistics or equivalent (Required).
  • SAP ECC and SAP APO (Required – similar ERP can be analysed).
  • Project Management Experience (Wanted).
  • Exp Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures (Wanted).
  • Solid understanding of forecasting and demand processes (Required).
  • Advanced English (Required)
  • Spanish (Required to be comfortable in leading meetings in spanish)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Demand planning, forecasting role (Required). 
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (Wanted);
  • Good knowledge of Excel (Required).
  • Power BI or similar knowledge is desired (Wanted).
